Meditation- 10 minutes of daily mindfulness meditation benefits.

Meditation is used across the globe in countless religious and spiritual traditions. ”Claudio Naranjo noted that the word’ ”Meditation” has been used in various practices that differ enough from one another so that we may find trouble defining what meditation is”.

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique such as mindfulness, focusing the mind on a Breath while inhaling and exhaling, thought to train attention and achieve a calm and stable state. Meditation is a mind and body practice with a long history of use to increase physical relaxation and improve psychological balance. Building skills to manage stress, increase self-awareness, focus on the present, reduce negative emotions, increase imagination and creativity, and increase patience and tolerance. Meditation significantly reduces stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. If you learn to meditate, you will be solving problems anyway. Something beautiful happens in meditation, and the beauty you find is calming. The more you meditate, the deeper you go within yourself.

There are many ways to meditate. One technique is Vipassana Meditation, also known as insight meditation. Vipassana Meditation is one of Buddhist and India’s most ancient meditation techniques. It was taught in India more than 2500 years ago as a universal remedy for universal ills. The term Vipassana is often conflated with the Vipassana movement, which popularized the new Vipassana teaching and practice. It started in Burma and is rooted in Theravada Buddhism and the revival of meditation techniques, especially the ” New Burmese Method” and the Thai Forest Tradition, as well as the modern influences on Sri Lanka Laos’s traditions Thailand.

With this method, you practice self-observation by focusing on your inner self nonjudgmentally. In Vipassana, you observe your inner self instead of consciously controlling the experience. In ”No thought” methods, the practitioner is fully alert, aware, and in control of their faculties. The goal is to help you quiet your mind, focus on the present, accept thoughts, emotions, and sensations for what they are, reduce regrets by dwelling less on the past, worry less about the future, respond to situations based on reality, instead of worries or preconceived notions. Meditation helps lower heart rate, oxygen consumption, breathing frequency, stress hormones, lactate levels, sympathetic nervous system activity associated with the fight-or-flight response, and a modest decline in blood pressure. Here are some other forms of this ancient practice that you may want to explore. Many of the following techniques should be learned with experience.

Seven Chakras Healing Food

Chakras are essential elements on your spiritual path, and understanding them will allow you better to integrate your mind, body, and spirit. In Sanskrit, the word ”Chakra” means ”disk” or ”Wheel” and refers to the energy centers in your body. These wheels of disks of spinning energy each correspond to specific nerve bundles and major organs. Your Chakras need to stay open or balanced to function at their best. If they get blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to a particular chakra. Seven main chakras run along your spine. They start at the root or base of your spine and extend to the crown of your head. We get deeper into the food chart for the seven Chakras connection. Let’s look at the location and characteristics of each energy center in our body.

  1. Root Chakra: The root chakra is located at the base of the spine. It is associated with energy, survival, stability, comfort, self-esteem, and safety. It provides you with a base or foundation for life. It helps you feel grounded and able to withstand challenges. Usually represented in color Red, it helps to keep the body’s energy connected with earthly energies. Feed it with: Root vegetables like carrots, potatoes, parsnips, radishes, beets, onions, garlic, and protein-rich food like eggs, meats, beans, tofu, soy products, and peanut butter. The spices that suit it are chives, paprika, and pepper.

  2. Sacral Chakra: The sacral chakra is located just below your belly button; it is always represented in hues of orange color. It is associated with emotions, sexuality, pleasure, sociability, and creativity. Its element is water. A healthy sacral chakra always controls and balances one’s life. Feed it with: Fan this fiery spot with sweet fruits like melons, mangos, strawberries, passion fruits, oranges, and coconut. Even honey and nuts are recommended for it. As for spices, cinnamon, vanilla, and sesame seeds help to nourish the chakra.

  3. Solar Plexus Chakra:The solar plexus chakra is located in the stomach area. It’s represented in yellow and is said to govern ego, strength, personality, power, determination, and self-esteem. Its element is Fire. The chakra seeks to achieve balance in self-esteem issues and intuitive skills. Feed it with: Grains like cereal, rice, flaxseed, sunflower seeds, and daily milk products like milk, cheese, yogurt, Ginger, mints, chamomile, turmeric, cumin, and fennel spice up the chakra.

  4. Heart Chakra: Rightfully called the heart chakra, it’s represented in pink and green color. It is located in the middle of the chest, over the sternum. It is associated with love, acceptance, compassion, and sincerity. Emotional abuse and heartbreak can be wounding to the seat of love. Ensure that this chakra is always in the right emotional frame. Its element is Air. Feed it with: The healing process is feeding the chakra leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, dandelion greens, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and celery. Green teas also keep the heart chakra healthy and spice it up with basil, thyme, and cilantro.

  5. Throat Chakra: The chakra is located at the throat and is symbolized in sky blue color. Its element is sound. It represents our will, power, communication, expression, creativity, inspiration, and responsibility. Not being able to express oneself can manifest into a cold and sore throat. Learn always to speak the truth. Feed it with: To keep the throat in mint condition, quench it with liquids like water, fruit juices, and herbal tea.

  6. Third Eye Chakra: The third eye is located in the center of the head or brow and is usually represented in the color indigo. Its element is light. It is associated with wisdom, intuition, transparency, meditation, and trust. It helps to keep things in perspective. Feed it with: Dark bluish fruits like blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries help to keep the chakra centered. Wine and grape juice and spices like poppy seeds are considered perfect for the chakra.

  7. Crown Chakra: The Crown chakra is located on the topmost portion of the head. The color used to identify it is either white or purple. It is the highest form of chakra, which ultimately opens up spiritual communication with the universe. It’s often drawn as a lotus blooming open. It is associated with knowledge, consciousness, fulfillment, and spirituality. Its element is Thought. Feed it with: This is tricky as the crown chakra is linked to spiritual nourishment, not necessarily physical nourishment. Those feeling a lack of connection to their crown chakra can benefit significantly from a gentle detox protocol and from nourishing the cleanest and highest quality vegetables and fruits possible. It would be best to focus on a clean, whole foods-based diet that is natural and wholesome. Tea such as peppermint and Ginger can help clarify, and food should be on the bland side, not hot peppers are here.
