Spiritual Grounding- Finding Your Roots.

Allow yourself enough time to attend carefully to each task; many of us perform energy work see spiritual Grounding as the attempt to connect to the earth in various techniques to bring mental and physical balance, which leads to spiritual well-being. If you have never performed any energy work, you might be surprised at how effective it can be. Life will take you on many marvelous and magical journeys. You will experience the highest and lowest of highs because that’s all part of the exciting journey. Grounding, also known as Earthing, attempts to connect with the hearts to the bodies we live as spiritual beings. It can be seen as a form of meditation, but it’s more than that. Being grounded will help you make decisions from a space of openness, willingness, and transformation.

Do you have a favorite tree or some area of your yard, porch, or patio where you can sit still, breathe in the breezes, feel the sun or mist, look up close at leaves, birds, and insects? Many of us can remember a favorite tree from childhood where we would go hide out to read or daydream or, in general, get away from other people and the day’s stresses. I have a hammock in my side yard, and it’s almost impossible to be stressed while I’m laying there. I’m looking up at tree branches and the sky—whether in the day or night—and I can feel my inner self sigh and expand. This is one way I Grounded. Gardens are designed to provide beauty, silence, bird song, and fragrance; in a way, a garden’s appeal to the physical senses is like what we experience in worship through colors, incense, and music. If you have a favorite garden spot, allow it to enhance your spiritual Grounding.

Keep in mind a grounded sense of reality, especially when you are on a manifesting journey to intentionally create your reality. Grounding is essential to managing your energy efficiently. If your energy is allowed to run enthusiastic, and you are not taking time to be in your body and feel centered and calm, then all hell could break loose. An essential element that is often ignored is the process of remaining grounded, feeling that your feet are firmly planted on the ground, and you are centered. There are many creative and powerful ways to ground yourself. You could try yoga, breathing exercises, eating a nutritious meal, meditation, or standing barefoot on a lawn or sand. This process is called “Earthing.” When you’re outside, you can easily ground yourself by allowing the bottoms of your feet, palms of your hands, or entire body to touch the earth. Walk in the grass, lay in the sand, or swim in the sea. These are all easy ways to reconnect naturally. Tune in to ask yourself what will help you be grounded in the present moment? Pause and form your experience or say a short prayer of worship, curiosity, or joy. Stop and breathe deeply. Observe what is right there with you. Ask God to open all your physical senses and your heart.
