“While expecting on the objects of the senses, one develops an attachment to them. Attachment leads to desire, and from desire arises anger”.
When was the last time you stopped to ask yourself, “What do I want? What are my true desires?” and then waited long enough to listen for the answer? These questions are about connecting the dots about your true self and desire. You know what you want to do and what direction you want to take your life in, but is what you’re doing now in line with this? But wait, these questions don’t help you find your true desire, does it?
If the “why” behind your dream is based on the desire to make others happy or keep the peace, it will only lead to frustration and anger. Don’t get me wrong. It’s okay to have responsibility and commitment goals that you need or want to fulfill. Just understand that those may not be your true desires, and it does not have to be an either-or situation. “Being true to you” doesn’t mean you drop your responsibilities or fail to meet your commitments. It means you learn how to do both.
I’ve learned from my true self-journey and working with other like-minded people that when I am willing, I figure out how to make things happen. And it’s okay not to be willing as long as I am honest. Why, my truth, my values, the lifestyle I want to live, and the person I want to be. Consider when aligned with me, I’ll have tremendous success accomplishing my dreams and goals.
If you are not spiritual, do not follow the meditation practices, it’s okay. But when you have a code of ethics, it will carry you to your true self and desires. Let’s learn to develop a code of ethics to help you find your true self and desire.
Awakening Breath: This breathwork awakens the power you hold and opens your mind’s eye, bringing you a sense of knowing and reminding you of your purpose. Start by releasing all the air from your chest. Hold your breath for five seconds, then inhale through your nose for five seconds. Hold your breath for five seconds, then exhale through your nose for five seconds. Repeat this for three to five minutes. As you hold your breath for the last time, ask your higher self to open you to divinity, to come into your presence and guide you down your true self-desire, which carries you to a divine path.
Another way to develop a code of ethics in life such as values, principles, and standards. By Reading motivational books and following motivational speakers whose speeches were, you learn some meaningful purpose in your life in the form of true desires.
I have some practical recommendations. First, check the quality of your thought while sitting in a quiet place, be calm, and maintain peace around you. Now think of any situation where you communicated whether it is in your favor or not. Now read your mind; it comes from your mind or your heart. Try to elaborate on the differences; if it comes from your mind, check how your body reacts, like your feelings, emotions, etc., whether it is from the inner part of the body or external. How, overall, are you responding to that situation? Now, if it comes from your heart, check the same things above. Now you must compare which makes you peaceful and calm and recognize your true self. And after seeing how it will impact your personal and professional life. You will learn values, honesty, respect, honor, inspiration, compassion, and charm with an open mind and recognize your true desires.
I believe that wherever you work, be honest with your time and Income. Because you spent a lot of time there at the workplace and with colleagues. That’s a good place where you examine yourself. It will teach you to be honest with your work and personal life. I know many voices to ask about your standard and principles after developing a code of ethics and following your true desires. But please let go of that voice because if something doesn’t serve you well, then there is no need to follow or maintain it unless you love or have some compassion for them. Everybody is a different and different mindset; everybody has some secret in their life. No need to reveal it to anybody because nobody will answer; you are the only person who can answer it. So never mind about those voices. Enjoy your life by searching for your true self and desire that will shine your life. And I promise you will be thrilled, which you have never been before.
